Waffles

Steven Canales has been playing video games since the SNES and Genesis days and absolutely loves RPGs from the era. While both of his parents played video games during the golden age after the release of the SNES they both stopped but by then gaming was permanently ingrained in Steven and he continued to play. He is still fond of the classics and revisits them often.
 
While in high school, and thanks to his brother, Steven discovered the wonderful world of writing. Steven was one of several teens who, with the help of the the Los Angeles Unified School District [LAUSD] started small teen anti-drug/health magazine. After several editorials he would start writing video game reviews and right before budgetary cutbacks, Steven was the only writer on board covering video gaming.

Outside of gaming Steven enjoys spending time with his two daughters and teaching them to play video games. He has been an avid wrestling fan since he was born, with even his grandparents watching the "sport." While in high school Steven started participating in backyard wrestling. Wrestling didn't last long because he decided to to hang up his boots for the sake of his safety and his children. Steven has returned to his first passions - writing and video games.
